Website

Can we get a website up and running? I have some experience with HTML, and can put together a website in Frontpage, if that helps. This idea is to good to stagnate on a random forum that only has 5 members.

This could grow into a massive project if we let it.

You're absolutely right; this idea is just too big to let it stagnate. Unfortunately, I have a full-time job which often leaves me with little spare time.

I want to get a proper webpage up and running soon, but the problem is that there is not enough content yet. What I really need to do is sit down and write introductions, editorials, FAQ's, etc.

I really want this project to be 'open source'; where everyone can feel free to contribute.

With that said, perhaps the best that you can do to help is to continue contributing to the discussion (i.e. ask more questions, post your own ideas, etc.).

If you really want to help, perhaps you could initiate some conversations in other forums you visit. Ask them to give their opinions on a certain topic that we might be discussing. Mention that you are a member of the Clean Slate Society Forums, and provide a link in your signature.

Anything that would generate positive public awareness is encouraged.

Today, I want to introduce a little experiment of mine to the site. Something (or somebody?) I call 'LinkMan'. You'll see LinkMan posting a few links to relevant material here and there throughout the site. He is there to add to content to the site, to stimulate and sometimes broaden the discussion. Let me know what you think of him...

You mean like a wiki? Hmm, I'll have to think about how that would work... Sounds like an interesting idea though; I think it would be great if we could add more wiki-style elements to the forum.

Well, I can see that you have recently (yesterdayish) updated. It looks cool, quick reply is great. Thanks on that one.

And lol, I was just thinking that all members should have the PW to linkman.

I'm not sure I Actually get it, is it some kind of bot connected to google?

A wiki would be good, as we could then start to collate all the ideas here into a plan.

I registered http://cleanslate.wikidot.com a while ago. There's nothing there at the moment, but I'm working on it ;-)

I'm not used to the layout.

I've heard Wikia is a better service.

Hmm, we seem to have lost the past day-and-a-halfs worth of posts. Backup didn't work either. Looks like we'll have to live with that loss, unfortunately... :-(

Just a quick update:

You'll notice I've added to two of the topic titles to reflect the subject of discussion contained therein. I believe this method is more suited to this forum. I prefer it as it keeps the natural flow of discussion going uninterrupted. What do you think?
